In this fast-growing and challenging economy, where time means everything, it could be discouraging to run across a customer who refuses to pay.

The philosophy about disposing bad customers is that if everyone knew who they were, no one would do business with them. 

Businesses would be extra cautious and these customers themselves would face the consequences of being exposed to the public.

Experience

It could be an exception and not the rule. But chances are all businesses have dealt with bad customers. The experience itself is demotivating, and challenges the entire organisation to its core. It could test the retention skills of a company, for example, if bad customers kept creeping in on a yearly basis.
